This is an oil painting on treated paper. It is painted in a thickly applied paint style, with energetic brushstrokes. The idea of travel, moving along the road, no destination known is an existential theme that I grew up with in the hippie days, along with Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg.
This is painted on gessoed paper and has a painted gray frame. It is evocative of the "On the Road" generation of which I am part.
